Sheathing the subfloor and unsuccessful window shopping

So we had a very unproductive trip up to the Second Use store in Burien and ReStore in North Seattle on Thursday. There was a lot of beautiful building materials, just nothing that we could use. We were trying to track down the elusive final window that we need to have ALL salvaged windows in our home, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Below is a picture of one hilarious thing they were selling at the ReStore though; a real confessional booth donated by a catholic church in Seattle!

Decidedly not going inside the confessional....

After an unproductive Thursday shopping trip, we got some good work done getting the 3/4"OSB attached to the bottom of the subfloor. We got all but two pieces on and will finish this weekend.

Jeff says the caption here should be: "Real contractors wear charm bracelets."

Sunset in the Port on our way home that night.
